STRAT
The STRAT scanner was rebuilt. It shows breadth across timeframes and exposure, and where symbols sit against their levels. Build scans in the scan builder, save the ones you reuse, choose which columns to show and open any symbol for a detail panel.
Rotation
Rotation now has Map, Table, Compare and Tree views. Sectors and stocks are ranked against a benchmark. Investigate next cards point out sectors that are improving or fading, and stocks pulling away from their sector.
Market Monitor
Switch between Levels, Range, Exposure and Flow views. Rails show price against key levels and the Expected Move, with sideways candles for context. Columns, timeframes and watchlists are adjustable.
Display and breadth
Display settings add app font choices, selectable and custom color palettes, and interface size and density. Breadth can show as Compact or Matrix, and center columns are easier to read.
Options Calculator
Plan multi-leg strategies with a payoff chart, estimated Greeks and breakevens, and implied volatility and time scenarios. A strategy guide explains common structures. Copy order text to thinkorswim, or paste thinkorswim order text in. Risk Twist adds put and bullish call versions, an optional outer short leg and modeled strike suggestions. Strikes and manual premiums stay put when the same symbol refreshes.
Volatility
The Volatility views were redesigned. Skew and out-of-the-money smile comparisons join term structure, IV premium by expiration and the Expected Move cone. The Surface uses strike prices.
Flow and Replay
Flow was rebuilt around price, levels, exposure and contracts. Compare Open Interest with Volume, stack views or place them side by side, and switch between 1D, 5D and 1M. Level History shows how steady each level has been. The contracts area is resizable and can show stock-price candles. Replay adds a revised session timeline, a session event log you can jump through and side-by-side profile comparisons. Times in Flow and Replay follow your Display settings.
Pulse and Activity
Pulse ranks symbols by Activity, Pressure and Divergence, with universe breadth, a flow map and daily-range views. It keeps the last available intraday flow through the overnight gap. Activity shows Volume, Open Interest and estimated premium with expiration and strike breakdowns. Top contracts are ranked separately, with daily history and a Hide expired option. Same-time comparisons appear when enough matching history is available.
Heatmap and histograms
Heatmap offers Heat or centered Bars, a choice of GEX, DEX, VEX or charm, and scaling across the whole grid or per expiration. Compare values with the previous close or the open, filter by comparison threshold or top three, and read the net and levels-by-expiration charts beneath the grid. Exposure histograms can show earlier-value dots from 5, 15 and 30 minutes ago, using the same expiration scope as the bars.
Alerts V2
Eligible Elite accounts can build alerts from a watchlist or single symbols, including level and timeframe-continuity alerts. Recent trading-day history stays in the feed, and each alert can open its chart or edit its rule. The feed uses compact price-to-level diagrams and can be filtered by session time. Browser notifications are optional and need permission in each browser.
Terminal and everyday use
The Terminal can embed more tools, including the Heatmap grid and Alerts. It also adds ticker groups, Auto-arrange with Undo, a floating sidebar and better behavior in narrow windows. Updated Learn guides and HP AI help cover the new workflows. Smaller fixes include SMH in the sector strip, easier-to-read Market Monitor and Heatmap on phones, landscape navigation, Compare opening reliably, aligned Activity strike bars and clearer handling of 0DTE days with no expiration.
